What you type

Your ZIP code, your monthly usage, and what appliances you own are used to run a calculation on your own device. None of it is sent to us. This site is a set of static files with no server that could receive it.

Advertising

This site is supported by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other sites. Google’s use of advertising cookies lets it and its partners serve ads based on your visit here and elsewhere on the internet.

Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites. Google’s advertising cookie (the DoubleClick cookie) enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on those visits. We do not control which advertisers appear, and we do not pass any of what you type on this site to them. How Google uses data when you use partner sites is described at policies.google.com/technologies/ads.

Analytics

We run one measurement script: Cloudflare Web Analytics. It counts page views and records which site linked you here, so we can tell whether anyone is finding this place at all. It sets no cookies, stores no identifier in your browser, and does not fingerprint your device. Nothing it leaves behind can follow you to another site or recognise you when you come back. The other third-party code that loads here is the advertising described above.

Alongside it are the server-side totals that Cloudflare, the CDN that serves this site, keeps for every site it delivers. They are counts and nothing more: how many requests a day brought, which country they came from, and which browser family the request headers named. They reach us already added up, a day at a time. There is no per-visitor log for us to read, and no way for us to pick you out of them.

Cloudflare does receive your IP address, because it cannot send you a page without one. It uses it to count how many distinct visitors a day had and to keep the site up under attack; it does not hand it to us. How Cloudflare handles it is set out in its privacy policy.

Children

This site is about household utility bills and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from them.
